The long-term success of your website on the web. Largely, depends in the efforts you put towards optimization of user experience. By simply identifying opportunities to improve Google ranking as per the upcoming changes.

Because, as you may already know, starting in May 2021. Google Search will officially include Core Web Vitals in the website ranking signals. And according to Google, this update will also combine the existing UX-related signals.

The existing UX-related signals are:

  • Mobile-friendliness
  • HTTPS-security
  • Safe-browsing
  • Interstitial guidelines

And the new Core Web Vitals are:

Core Web Vitals
  • Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): Measures loading performance or the time it takes for the page main content to load. Recommended LCP measurement is 2.5 seconds or faster.
  • First Input Delay (FID): Measures interactivity or the time it takes for a page to become interactive. Recommended measurement is less than 100 ms.
